Rescue & Repair

We like to do things right. Not happy with an app someone else made you? Let us help make it work like how it should.

Design & Development

Starting from scratch? Our talented designers are keenly aware of what makes an app useful and fun to use. Don’t have your own backend services or art department? Use ours!

A pleasure to work with

In addition to great software, we believe in great customer experience. This shows in our custom software distribution system: we make it dead-simple to test out your app right on your own devices.
Let’s keep in touch! We like to have weekly calls to share progress updates and get your latest feedback. More details
Our AGILE strategy

For us, Agile management is about putting usable previews of the software in the client’s hands at the end of every 2 week sprint. Using these incomplete versions helps to flush out miscommunications and we can make small adjustments to stay on course.

The SCRUM method

SCRUM is how our development team estimates and schedules tasks. It provides you the information necessary to rearrange or cut features to meet budget and timeline constraints. The sprint schedule and deliverables make billing transparent. Learn more

Spektrum STi

004 developed the Spektrum STi flight telemetry iPhone App for Horizon Hobby. Horizon Hobby is an international developer, marketer and distributor of radio control (RC) hobby products, model trains and a wide range of educational, toy and other hobby products.

004 was responsible for completing the app’s backend operation including but not limited to writing code necessary to communicate between the app and Spektrum 2.4 GHz radio systems via the STi Telemetry Interface dongle. The dongle is the fundamental accessory that enables a user to monitor his or her aircraft’s telemetry on an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch. Additionally, 004 refined the app’s user interface to align with and take advantage of Apple’s Inc. user interface guidelines.

BILD Shop

Bild is the largest daily newspaper in Germany and owned by the Axel Springer Media Group. The BILD Shop iPad application compliments the newspaper’s ecommerce platform launched in May 2010. Together, the iPad app and its webshop sibling not only support a new revenue stream independent of subscriptions sales, but also provide a new medium by which the newspaper can increase advertising revenue across its portfolio of print and digital titles.

The BILD Shop iPad App supports three independent retail shops; consumer electronics, athletic and sport apparel, and Bild branded products. Unique app components include the infinitely scrolling sushi bar for each shop on the app’s main landing page, and horizontally swipeable product grid pages that enable a user to seemlessly navigate between product and sibling categories without having to return to a home starting point.

Design Survival Guide

004 developed two Student Survival Guide iPhone apps for Professor Kathryn Anthony, PhD, and Distinguished Professor of Design at the University of Illinois School of Architecture. The two apps are based on Dr. Anthony's award winning book, Design Juries on Trial: The Renaissance of the Design Studio, and are meant for students to use on a daily basis as a virtual guide to surviving life as an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student. The focus of each app is to provide students a tool to organize their personal and professional schedules in the run-up to important presentations or exams such as a design jury, portfolio review, mid-term, or final exam.
